A dissatisfied customer, yet again.

This story begins with me entering a contest on Facebook. I didn't think the things actually worked and then I got an email saying that although I didn't win  the grand prize, I did win a gift card bonus prize! Go me! Woo!

I send my shipping details and they send out the gift card. I did another rant a couple of years ago about my dealings with UPS/Purolator and that experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth with regards to couriers. Good news this time, the card was being mailed with FedEx, great nothing can go wrong with FedEx right? Right? right...

With it comes my antepenultimate blog post about the contest, cause well, it'll be over. Why antepenultimate you might ask? What the hell does that even mean? Stop using big words Steve! Well, simply, it means this is the third last post about the contest. I still have another entry to make tomorrow morning, as I've been doing with all these posts. Then after the winner (fingers crossed me) is announced, I'll be making a last entry with pictures and such from the finale on Monday afternoon

It's the morning of Day 13, just two more days to go. Well, 3 really for most people because you have to count today, but I'll be asleep for a fair bit of the day. Actually no, I won't be. Despite my usual nocturnal nature, I'll be up and about today. I've got a meeting at 4:00pm in the lobby of the Holiday Inn for Sci-Fi On The Rock. So it's home, sleep for a couple of hours and then become a day walker for a bit.

Here I am in the morning of Day 10 of the HitsFM $10,000 TShirt contest. Still going strong after what was a pretty uneventful Day 9. Still no sign of the so called TShirt Police, though I did roam the city today since I was off. If they find me, they find me, if they don't then I'm sure I'll see them all on Monday the 31st at the finale.

Well here it is, Day 9! Woo! The shirt is still in great shape and smells faintly of Irish Spring. Not funky in the least. This despite what was a most energetic end to Day 8.

We had snow! I know, not that uncommon an occurrence here in Newfoundland, but the main thing of note is that myself, along with a lot of other contestants out there had to shovel/snowblow/clear our driveways while sporting the ever popular Ten Grand TShirt.
